Cannabis and your lungs

Cannabis and your lungs, an in depth look for keeping your lungs safer. As a cannabis breeder for decades, I have spent many years studying the effects of inhaling smoke on the lungs. While the use of cannabis for medicinal and recreational purposes has become increasingly popular, it is important to consider the potential risks associated with inhaling smoke from burning cannabis. In this blog post, I will share my insights on the different ways to smoke cannabis, and discuss the best methods for protecting your lungs in the long-term.

Bizarre Ways to Smoke Cannabis

One of the most bizarre ways to smoke cannabis is through “hot knifing,” where a user heats up the blade of a knife and then places a small amount of cannabis on the blade, creating smoke which is inhaled. This method is extremely dangerous as it creates extremely high temperatures which can burn the user and also produces harmful toxins which can be inhaled.

Vaping vs. Water Bongs

Using water bong and Vaping are two popular methods of consuming cannabis. Vaping involves heating cannabis oil to create a vapour that is inhaled, while water bongs involve filling a chamber with water and then burning cannabis in a bowl which is then inhaled through the water chamber. While both methods can be used to inhale cannabis, I recommend vaping over water bongs as it is considered to be less harmful to the lungs. But if you use clean ice in your water chamber, cooling the smoke will be even less harmful than vaping.

Hot Knifing Hashish

Hot knifing hashish is a fun yet not so nice for your lungs. The key here is to burn at a lower temperature using a vape or cooling the smoke with ice in a water chamber. Here at BC Seeds we are woking on creating an ice chamber vape machine. This will allow burning your dope at lower temperatures and cooling the smoke. The best way to take it easy on your lungs.

Burning Cannabis Oil vs. Hashish

Burning cannabis oil and hashish are two different methods of consuming cannabis. Cannabis oil is often vaporized and inhaled, while hashish is typically smoked. I recommend consuming cannabis oil over hashish as it is considered to be less harmful to the lungs.

Conclusion

As a breeder and heavy toker, I take lung health serious. I believe it’s important to consider the effects of inhaling smoke on the lungs when consuming cannabis. While there are a variety of methods available for consuming cannabis, I recommend vaping. Vaping cannabis oil is better than other methods such as smoking or hot knifing. It is important to make an informed decision on the best method of consumption that protects your lung health in the long term.
