Never let these DRY OUT during germination. Soak in a sterile cup with distilled water. They have genetics from a landrace from a swampy area, and it is genetically programmed to know if it is sitting in a rain puddle for 3-4 days (it won't germ because it genetically knows the puddle will dry out) so you need to mimick it's natural surroundings, soaking them.
